Passing Entities is a student-driven project that hoped to spark meaningful dialogues and appreciation for heirlooms among contemporary audiences in Singapore, as well as creating more awareness about the value of objects that may have been overlooked in a day and age where objects from the past are often perceived of lesser value.
Research has shown that many contemporary audiences are unaware of the significance and value of heirlooms. The project incorporated augmented reality (AR) technology to explore the impact of the technology as a learning tool that reveals the history and untold stories behind different objects.
